Before you dance with us...

We’re so excited to have you join our workshop! To help everything run smoothly and safely, please take a moment to read through our policies and waiver below.

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that undertaking any form of dance, including the activities involved in this workshop, carries inherent risks , including, but not limited to, injury, muscle strain, and accidents. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the workshops.​

2. Medical Conditions

I affirm confirm that I am not suffering from any medical condition, injury, or disability that would either prevent me from participating in the workshop , or that could endanger my health and safety or the health and safety of others. If I have any pre-existing conditions, I confirm that I will inform the instructor before participating. Failure to do so will be at my own risk.​

3. Media Release

I consent to the use of photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. I understand that these images may be used on social media, websites, and other promotional materials. I acknowledge that participation in the
workshop may provide opportunities for filming, and I consent to such filming being used for promotional purposes, unless I explicitly opt out.​

4. Non-Transferability of Registration

I understand that my registration is non-transferable, and that I cannot substitute or transfer my participation to another individual without prior written approval from the workshop organizer.​

5. Refund Policy

I understand that no refunds will be issued and I am responsible for reviewing the refund and cancellation policy at the time of registration.​

6. Venue-Specific Conditions

I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the venue hosting the workshop, including but not limited to, footwear, arrival time, and other venue-specific guidelines that are my own responsibility to ensure I am aware of. I understand that failure to
adhere to these rules and guidelines may result in being asked to leave the premises without a refund.​

7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Static Bollywood Dance, its instructors, and staff and any individual working for or associated with Static Bollywood Dance and or this workshop from any claims, damages, or legal fees resulting from my actions during the workshop. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, property​

8. Confidentiality of Personal Information

I understand that any personal information provided will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of this workshop. My data will not be shared with third parties without my consent, except as required by law.​

9. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Calgary, AB, Canada, and any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Calgary, AB,Canada.​

10. Ticket Availability and Sales End Dates

I understand that tickets will be removed when no longer available, past the deadline of the workshop date, or if the class is full. Due to system limitations, the "Sales End" date
shown under tickets may not accurately reflect actual ticket availability. For example, early bird tickets or specific workshops may sell out or close sooner than the displayed sales end date.​

Acknowledgment

By participating in this workshop series, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions above. I further acknowledge that my participation is voluntary, and I am accepting full responsibility for my own safety and well-being while participating in the workshops.​
